Thursday 7th July

Tonight we finally got to see the results of the nominations!!! Finally. First of all, would like to apologise again for my fickle behaviour; I've slept on it, and so has Andy, and I was a little quick to voice my negativity. It was an over reaction but he knows that too now. We can go back to being friends.

It was amusing though how Andy was saying in the diary room how Hughie's pranks of telling people something, going on with it and then telling them it's a joke wasn't humourous to him. Whilst just in the other room Jayne's got some bacon in the oven for Lateysha's "birthday" breakfast...

So the results are in! And my prediction did not entirely come true, the most important part of Chelsea being the one who received the most votes did though, and that's all that matters. Joining him are Emma,  (we'll come back to that) Charlie and Jason. No votes were particularly surprising, but pretty much everyone received a vote. Was it just Alex and Sam who didn't receive one? I was a little distracted from watching the penultimate episode of Orange is the New Black just beforehand...why is Poussey dead? Sorry if that's a spoiler.

My favourite nomination explanations come from Jason and, of course, stupid Chelsea. Jason on Ryan: "when he isn't positive, he's negative" and Chelsea talking about how he can't talk about astronomy to Evelyn. You couldn't even maintain a conversation about astronomy Chelsea because you probably don't even know what it is. You can't even maintain the hair on your head.

And how gut wrenching was it when Charlie was talking to Jayne about her relationship with Jason?  He walks in and she tells him that he was the best she ever had, when hours before he did the worst thing he could possibly do to a person in the Big Brother house. Once she sees that mate, you might get the all clear.

The show ended tonight with Jackson and a few others having a pop (haha I just typed 'poo' by mistake) at Emma about the task. Which finished yesterday. Which, in hindsight, didn't actually result in a negative outcome for any housemate. She was cool as fuck and just smashed a door down to get away from it, rather contrary to Ryan's earlier attempt when he came back and walked round to literally everyone saying "I didn't do that for attention". Everyone getting into bed and he's going up to every single one of them in their sleep whispering "I didn't do it for attention".

Emma's escape was the last straw for the Big man though, and sweet, positive Emma was given the boot. The house lacks positivity as it is and I think that's the last ray of sunlight kept out for the series. Now it'll just be arguments between exes, the boring 'will they, won't they?' scenario with Evelyn and Alex and sounds of Laura kissing the next guy who she comes across.

At least Emma can snuggle up to that big hunk of muscle whenever she likes though. Fairwell darling.

Now let's get Chelsea out.

Wednesday 6th July

So the morning highlighted the combination of kissing couples with angry housemates looking on after the decision to turn around in the loyalty game. Jackson would not let it lie, and we saw Emma feel his wrath. When she was done snuggling with her muscle hunk.

We hear Jackson's speech of doing the right thing, and taking one for the team as he refuses to turn around for anything.

Himself, Lateysha, Laura and Sam are called outside. There are messages from his son and Lateysha's daughter. After a believable stubborn couple of minutes, he does turn around. No need to make Emma feel so bad now, right?

We barely see Alex's treat with his sister. Just like his time in the house really. What will be featured on his best bits? A collage of topless shots no doubt.

Jason kicks something after another pointless interaction with Charlie. I like seeing him like it though, what did she do to you, mate? Was it really that bad?

The final four housemates who are yet to receive love from the task finally do; Jayne, Evelyn, Charlie and Chelsea get phonecalls from their friends and family. Jayne is warned about Chelsea's modification of the truth, she attempts to confront him, and he manages to worm his way out of it with THE worst lie I've ever heard. Actually stand by your words Jayne and don't go near him. A horrible, horrible man.

And how bloody fickle am I? Hughie wins my support regarding the argument with Andy around the fake proposal. Andy completely over reacted, they clearly weren't mocking gay rights, they're not clever enough to even comprehend that. Ryan was obviously doing what he always do, exaggerating the status of his and Hughie's relationship. That was all. I think Andy blew it all out of control because he thought they were taking the piss out of him and his recent proposal in the Big Brother house. Stoned to death was mentioned a fair few times.

Believe me, I can't even begin to understand what gay couples have been through to get to the rights which should have been there all along, but that was not what this argument was about at all.

It's not a pop at you, stop trying to make it a pop at you. And stop letting us see you kissing your ring because it looks like a complete play up to the cameras.

Where are the nominations this week?! It's bloody Thursday tomorrow. Predictions? Jayne, Andy and possibly Hughie due to the arguments. I pray Chelsea is up there and he goes home without an interview. Cannot be bothered hearing anything more about him.

Tuesday 5th July

It's the morning after the night before, there are three new lads in The Other house and it is so nice to see a smile secured on Andy's face. It soon comes to the time where the lovers must leave, and the task to be resumed.

Housemates seem to be going fully for it now with little concern to the points mounting up, we see Sam turn around for a fish and chip lunch with his mum (didn't even touch the food!!! And it looked delicious!) his emotions did not seem genuine at all. Why is it all people want to talk about is how they're perceived 'on the outside world' it's your mum! I'm sure there are other things to talk about than yourself.

We then see housemates Charlie, Jackson, Chelsea and Jason face the dilemma of allowing the loved ones back into the house for another night. Jason lead the moral way of saying no, those housemates have had their share, we need to do what's best for the house and the housemates who haven't had times with loved ones yet. Charlie supports him 100%, shortly followed by Chelsea and Jackson finally agrees also.

They break the news to the house, Emma is naturally gutted about the situation, but doesn't hold it against the housemates who made the decision so fair play to her.

We see Ryan get a spray tan and a chat with his mate, where she confirms that he can finally chill out on the paranoia regarding the tossing off with Hughie. Happy days, the Ryan/Hughie love train can speed all the way into...the night?

But all changes when Laura, Andy, Emma and Hughie face the final decision of the day; same scenario of loved ones, but now of course offered to the housemates who it directly affects. Emma presses the button immediately, I believe all other housemates are secretly relieved that it was her that did it as they didn't want to be responsible for angering the other housemates.

And the housemates, surprisingly, don't take it too well. Jackson loses his lid actually, interrupted by polite Ed introducing himself which I found extremely humourous. A sweet hug and hello, followed by the throwing of an object against a wall and finally screaming at Big Brother.

Will look forward to Lateysha seeing her kid tomorrow, that's if there's any points left. Whoooaaaaaaa!! Oh no she di'n't!!! But something to tide you over until tomorrow; a recap of Chelsea's conversation with Big Brother in the diary room:

C:"Is this a task for individuals or as a group?"
BB: "As a group."
C: "Will individuals receive prizes for making decisions?"
BB: "The decisions are made as a group effort, the results determine whether a luxury shopping budget will be provided to all housemates as a group."

At least he can say he tried. Really fucking stupid though.

The weekend following Georgina's departure

So on Saturday we saw the final episode Georgina will be partaking in as a housemate, felt extreme embarrassment when she was kicking her feet about Jackson's child. Only Georgina could turn a conversation about placenta into an argument. However, she was entertaining so I stand by my decision of liking her and wishing Jayne had left instead.

And with her departure, comes the return of the Charlie and Jason saga. She is sick to death of the way he is treating her, what with not wanting to hug her after she's pulled a wobbly over nothing, and then lending a shirt to Evelyn to sleep in. Who does he think he is?

Although in the next episode we learn it's because he had previously told Charlie he finds nothing sexier than a girl in a man's shirt. Jason fancies Evelyn. He probably doesn't, but I don't find him completely genuine, I just don't think he is acting as he would if he wasn't in the house. Charlie is obviously pushing him that way, and cracks are starting to appear, I do believe he is a nice guy, I just think he cannot stand Charlie, and that's what he is hiding from us.

So we learn the task is all about temptation; where the housemates have a certain allocation of some equality of currency, and have to maintain it to receive the grub. This is usually my favourite task of Big Brother, I love it when housemates get to see their loved ones, or are willing to give up a luxury shopping budget for one portion of McDonalds. Day one of the task, and the housemates are doing well, they've managed to decline the bullshit food and pampering products (thank god). We see a little pooch...it's Cleo. Poor Jason brought to tears whilst he stubbornly refuses to turn around, he's a good lad. "I know people will say she's just a dog, but she's my dog" amen to that brother. "I'm just glad she's ok" sweetest man.

Bet in hindsight he wishes he fucking saw her for five points...so after Jason's emotional torture, another fight brews with Charlie. She says she's just trying to be nice by mentioning how he's never usually with her so not to worry about it. Around eight times. Jason said maybe on the second time to stfu, she didn't. Cue more "it's fine" and that's another day done with those two.

What other loved ones were to appear on the show? Andy and Emma's geezers, and Laura's long lost Mexican love, Bernardo. When Emma heard Josh's voice, the way she hit that button was so sweet, such a genuine love and excitement for this person, Laura's seemed very dramatic, and Andy's pure perfection; resulting in a proposal.

When Andy see's Ed he gushes at how he wants to marry him, Ed bloody whips out a ring doesn't he? Could not have been better; both came to the same realisation and it was so lovely. Andy has gone through some bullshit in that house and to see him happy, and with his man, was truely a delight to see. I even started crying and then burst out laughing when I realised I was moved by a proposal on Big Brother. Andy brought it up at the same time too! So crazy.

Oh my god I was going to say earlier too, the conflict between Andy and Hughie. What the fuck was that on about?! I absolutely adore the both of them, and it was hard to watch, I was definitely siding with Andy. Although I realise that Hughie was perhaps saying it to wind him up, those kind of negative comments, repeatedly said, would have got my back in. It did just on Andy's behalf. I wonder what it is about him that I like so much? He's just completely level headed and I agree with most things he says. Congratulations to Andy and Ed ❤️.

So the loved ones get to spend the night, so cue footage of Emma helping Laura force some farts out. Can you imagine Bernardo's face when he sees that? Absolutely fantastic.

Friday 1st July

Caught up on last night's antics this morning...and what an episode.

Charlie put a downer on it once again with Jason. She is really trying to disregard the dog kicking comment, by mentioning it constantly. So she's in a room surrounded by a lot of housemates, Jason is, of course, the topic of conversation and it isn't very positive. So now he's lied about a night out and his 20 year old daughter. Andy is sitting there, I was even thinking to myself that if I was there I'd be getting irritated. And just like that he removes himself from the situation, and tells his mate exactly what is going on. Understandably. But yet again he gets the flack for beig 'sly'.

We see Jason lose his cool, I can imagine he has been wanting to air this since he realised Charlie would be joining him in the house, he's done well to maintain his composure so far. But to be honest, this relationship didn't really steal the show for me tonight.

Contradictory to previous posts, it was Georgina and Jackson's that nailed it tonight. I found her so funny throughout, the Bob Marley comments really tickled me, and when Jackson did mention about having fun with Evelyn, it kind of put the jealousy thing into perspective for me. He knew that would not have gone down well. And when she's explaining it in the diary room about how insecure she is when it comes to guys I really felt for her. I am completely the same and I have had such a harsh opinion on her, I just wanted to retract it all, and take back my ill wishes on her stay in the house.

We see Andy and Jayne saved. One success there at least, Andy has not had it easy. But Jayne is so boring, it should have been her to leave tonight.

And whilst Jackson is outside and he is looking into the camera saying how he wanted to be in the diary room with his Mrs, my cold heart actually melted. And the speech to follow about her loving him for who he was, was really sweet. Although it did go on to citing John Legend lyrics (this wasn't the first time he's done it). Her comment about her remaining composure when drunk... 👌🏻😂 we know darling. And we love adore how classy you are.

And then we join presenter Emma again, when she delivers the blow that Georgina will follow Natalie's footsteps and be the next housemate to leave the house. The tears in the house were all genuine, and I too, felt gutted.

Her interview with Emma was so good and she was a really good housemate. She was honest with her views and her grumpy side was just an endearing character trait. I love how Emma didn't state that it was due to her jealousy why she was there, but united with her on the mental jealousy front. We all know, as ladies, that we shouldn't do it, but sometimes the green taint is too hard to control. I just haven't been in a relationship for ages so forgot what it feels like.

We have lost a really amusing and genuine housemate, and it is frustrating for someone as boring and non interactive to remain in there. Think the public will perhaps learn from their lesson and Jayne will definitely be out next week.

Thursday 30th June

Doesn't it make you feel sick when you see people waking up? All bloodshot eyed and puffy faced? The alarm was a  nice little reminder about day two of the shit working task.

Chelsea undid all the hard work that had made me able to laugh at him, the argument he had with Ryan in the manager's office made me want to get in his face. Just wouldn't leave Ryan alone! Getting all in his grill, no awareness of personal space remotely. So rude and completely inappropriate for the view he was trying to express. Just pipe down and sit. And cut your hair you monster.

Wanted to slam my head against a brick wall when Lateysha described a TURTLE as a two legged, African herbivore. Only good part of the task was when Jackson heard what Georgina said about being embarrassed to introduce him to her crew. Thankfully, that was all we had to see of them tonight really. Cue Charlie and Jason.

So poor Jason accidentally revealed he went on a night out with the lads. Someone call the police. And he cheated on her? Probably not but she is mental. And Charlie supposedly kicked his dog? Somebody actually call the police. Definitely why he split up with her, the mindgames he could let slide but the dog kicking was the nail in the coffin. Good on him. So they rowed a bit, Jason opened up more which is a good step in the right direction. Andy supporting him too, they have a really sweet friendship.

Oooo. Fishbowl gate! Ok, so I don't think Ryan ACTUALLY said he was joking about being annoyed, but Sam and, surprisingly, Alex took it too far.

Sam to Ryan: "Are you annoyed about the fishbowl?"

Ryan to Sam: "No"

Sam to everyone else: "they're pissed off about the fishbowl"

Alex to Ryan: "Are you annoyed about the fishbowl?"

Ryan to Alex: "No"

All shit kicks off. Nice to actually hear the Liverpudlian accent I must say! Quite the wee shit stirrer ain't ya? Bless Hughie though. Was watching his sweet legs resting on the bed being all proud of how he was keeping his cool whilst Alex was being rude to him. Then he started shouting, thought to myself, what a sweetheart, not even being aggressive. Just loud. Then his face went all red and Jason had to physically move him and I thought...yeah...go chill out in the diary room. But he did! And he was fine in there. He's a good lad, he's just mega on the old volume.

Sam there, a fully grown man, pissed up on a couple of cans of vodka and coke. Crying. Get a grip mate.

I think Andy may have managed to just swing himself to safety. Just vote Jayne out lovers.

Wednesday 29th June

Georgina's negativity opening the show. Again. Will that be all for the episode though? Nah...

So Chelsea is called to the diary room for the description of this weeks challenge. Could see how excited he was to take on the role of manager, what he does in the outside world you see. All talk and absolutely no action. What were those words of wisdom? "The only way to achieve success is through hard work"  How inspiring...

So Chelsea is boss of the office based task, where the other housemates are unable to swear, be negative or argue with each other. Just what the house needs, really lame attempt of adherence so far. We have Ryan on reception, and Emma and Sam almost immediately promoted to just watching screens with Chelsea in the other room.

Lateysha did make me laugh with the outfits she had selected for the employees of her imaginary business venture. All men should wear white suits and matching hats.

A Big Brother task wouldn't be a task without an element of exposing previous said statements from within the house. Hence the customer service exercise where we saw Evelyn, Georgina, Jayne and Andy listen to their recent nominations. Savage. Evelyn and Jayne took it on the chin, Andy had a good cry (which I believe is fair, it was a large amount to hear and all of them were horrible) and of course Georgina is a massive twat about it all.

As was Jackson, the way he spoke to Emma about her mentioning his name within her nomination for Georgina was unforgivable. How can he actually believe what he says? She was not mentioning him to sabotage their "relationship", her intentions were clearly to express her bemusement of having to witness how a girl can be that controlling and suffocating to, what was before, a fun loving and happy guy.

At least he apologised though. How transparent. Although, the way he spoke to Evelyn and (ha! Can't even think of her name) erm...Marco's ex bird (I don't mean to be mean as she has been alright recently) It's Emma isn't it? Ok, well anyway, we managed to catch a glimpse of Jackson realising what shit hoops he is having to jump through. And this was confirmed again when in the final scene he's in bed and Georgina is demanding him to go to bed, but he is not dancing to her tune, not even swaying, and to chuck a loveheart sweet at Evelyn! The sneakiest man! Good though. Get rid of her.

Huge pat on the back to Big J (Jason) for calling Chelsea up on doing a shit job as boss. They're fairly easy guidelines to follow, you got to make it happen as a boss. Just actually tell them what to do instead of demanding sliced strawberries. What a joke.

As it stands, want Georgina out so Jackson can say "ting" more freely, or Jayne just because she does not bring a lot to the table at all...
